Surrey joinery specialists were tasked with replacing a large section of rotten conservatory to a large period property.
The whole of the end section had to be removed as it was all rotten apart from the door. All glass was removed carefully so that it could be reinstated upon completion of repair work.
When all the rotten timber had been removed, and new treated and primed sections had been installed the glass was reinstated, and the door rehung, here was the end result.
Surrey joinery specialists were tasked with replacing the old drafty single glazed metal windows to this period property with new heat efficient double glazed ones. This was achieved by making the new windows from American white oak and fitting them with 20mm Argon filled low-E double glazed sealed units, giving the new windows a B-C rating on the energy efficiency rating. Draft seal strip has been installed in the manufacture process to the frame and they were supplied and installed with 3 coats of saddolin’s clear weathershield to protect from rain and UV.
